The Cowshed and Stables
A cosy setting
The cows and horses of days gone were well housed at the Cour Cormont. The former cowshed and stables building has been turned into a breakfast and dining-room (for groups only) and sitting area. The cosy fireplace is made of local Saint Jean brick, and fits right in with the decor: it is hard to believe it is a recent addition. The upstairs grain-loft has been converted into two spacious bedrooms. Downstairs, on the side facing the old church and Louis XIV manor-house, a garden room extends onto the lawn.
The ceiling of the bedroom over the stables slopes steeply up to more than four metres at its highest point. It sleeps three (in one double and one single bed or three singles). It has a private bathroom and toilet and independent access on the east side of the building.
The cowshed bedroom is even roomier and sleeps four (in one double and two single beds or four singles). It has a private bathroom and toilet and independent access on the east side of the building.
