The Henhouse
Elegant simplicity
The Henhouse has been converted into a free-standing bijou gîte for two or three people. It is surrounded with hedges and overlooks the half-timbered Louis XIV manor house and the late twelfth-century steeple of the village church.
With its half-timbering, thatched roof, typical old pamments, oak and elm beams and wood-burning stove, the Henhouse has the simple elegance and comfort typical of farmhouses in the Pays de Caux (the chalk country behind Dieppe). Its south-facing terrace has a fine view of the garden and the lily pond, yet is so discreetly tucked away no one would even know you were there.
